 Beadifully Crazy

  Teacher: Sherrill Lewis, The Bead Ranch, Stillwater, OK
Time: Friday, 12:00 pm-1:30
Kit fee: $20 includes instructions, needles and thread, goodie bag of beads, practice cloth
Description: Use bugle beads, seed beads, and more to create novel seam treatments.
Students need sharp scissors and one crazy quilt block (12" or less) to embellish. You may bring a 12" square of cotton fabric if you'd rather work a sampler. Oh yes, bring loads of enthusiasm, too, please!

Button Charm Bracelet

“Buttons are like chocolates…no one can have just one!  Learn techniques to create beautiful, inexpensive projects to show off all of your favorite buttons without harming them.  All ages will enjoy this.”

The Perfect Circle

Description:
The Perfect Circle.... appliquéd circles that are ROUND!
Do you have that basic quilt block that needs a little zing, or that album quilt block of grapes, the perfect circle is the answer. You will learn an easy technique to prepare the perfect circle for placement on any quilt block. We will prepare several sizes of circles and apply them using basic hand appliqué technique. We will cover types of fabric, thread, and needles to be used for hand and/or machine appliqué.
Bring medium or large sharp fabric scissors, paper scissors, and a thimble.

Perfect Stitches

Kit fee: $30 includes perle cotton, needle, fabric, instructions, and templates.
Description:  You like doing hand embroidery but your stitches look wonky? Wobbly stitching no more! Sherrill shows you tricks and tips in using common tools and templates (usually found in less than obvious places) creatively. You'll be a happier stitcher! We'll work a sampler of embroidery stitches using chevron, herringbone, cretan, fly, web, rose, daisy stitches, and more.
Students please bring sharp scissors and a fabric marking pencil. Hoop optional.

Small Pleated Rose

Description:
Helen will show you how to make this fabulous rose which is sure to generate lots of wows from your friends! Use the rose on a jacket, hat, purse, tote, or make it the center of a crazy quilt, or use it to enhance a photo album cover. It also looks great framed! Kit with instructions available in class. Bring scissors and a ruler or tape measure.  This is the first time we've taught this rose in Pueblo - don't miss it!

Traditional Hawaiian Appliqué

Description:
Learn to hand applique one of the four Hawaiian blocks. This class is for the beginner to the advanced. Types of fabrics, threads, and needles to be used for hand applique will be covered. We will cut out block and work on appliquéing points, round edges, and dips.
Bring small sharp scissors, large sharp fabric scissors, paper scissors, and a thimble.
